WHEREAS, the Pueblo Regional Building Commission is a seven-member commission consisting of three (3) County appointments, three (3) City appointments, and one (1) joint appointment, whose powers include the general supervision, administration, and establishment of policy governing the Regional Building Department; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one (1) county vacancy, Public Notice soliciting applications from persons interested in serving on the Pueblo Regional Building Commission was published in The Pueblo Chieftain, on the Government Channel, Pueblo County Website and Social Media and one application was received; and
WHEREAS, this Board desires to reappoint Kent Stringer as a County member to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission for a three-year term that will expire on October 1, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pueblo County, Colorado, that Kent Stringer is hereby reappointed as a County member to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission for a three-year term expiring on October 1, 2022 and the Staff to the Board is authorized and directed to notify the aforementioned member of his reappointment by providing him with a copy of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of December 2019, in Pueblo County, Colorado.
